If I could have my way, I would have a job simply to support my volunteer endeavors. I have been humbled and privileged to be a part of two amazing organizations:
This organization has volunteer photographers and photo editors all over the world who provide families, grieving the loss of an infant (or the impending loss), with heirloom remembrance photographs of their child. I have witnessed first hand the power of this service, and every time I go out on a call, I am blown away by the fact that I am able to help people at such a critical point in their lives. If you are a photographer, please consider checking it out, as it is a life changing kind of an experience. If you have been touched by this service, we would love to hear from you. And if you have never heard of this service before, please have a look at the video below and at the website to see what it is all about.
2- Help-Portrait ( Abbotsford)
This organization started in 2008 in the US with an idea for photographers to give back to their communities in a tangible way. Now it is a worldwide movement of photographers, editors, hair stylists, make-up artists, and other volunteers who are giving their time and talents to those in need.
